µTorrent (or uTorrent) is a free, ad-supported, closed source, cross-platform, popular BitTorrent client owned by BitTorrent, Inc. in uTorrent release of v3.2.2, BitTorrent, Inc included sponsored ads within the uTorrent client to generate extra revenue. if you want to get rid of these sponsored ads then that can be easily done from within the uTorrent settings.  no need any third party ad blocking program.

Steps to Remove Ads from uTorrent.

1. Open uTorrent.

2. Then Options > Preferences.

3. Select Advanced from the Preferences window.

4. Now type offers in the filter box.

5. Set the value of offers.left_rail_offer_enabled and offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled to false.

6. Click Apply and Ok. Exit uTorrent and open it.

Steps to hide the sidebar advertisement in uTorrent.

1. Open uTorrent.

2. Click on Options menu.

3. Uncheck the Show Plus Information.
